Nizami Ganjavi, Nizami Ganje’i, Nizami, or Nezāmi, whose formal name was Jamal ad-Dīn Abū Muḥammad Ilyās ibn-Yūsuf ibn-Zakkī, was a 12th-century Persian Sunni Muslim poet. Nezāmi is considered the greatest romantic epic poet in Persian literature, who brought a colloquial and realistic style to the Persian epic.

Haft Peykar

Haft Peykar also known as Bahramnameh is a romantic epic by Persian poet Nizami Ganjavi written in 1197. This poem is a part of the Nizami’s Khamsa. The original title in Persian Haft Peykar can be translated literally as “seven portraits” with the figurative meaning of “seven beauties.”

Layla And Majnun

Layla and Majnun, also Leili o Majnun, is a narrative poem composed in 584/1188 by the Persian poet Niẓāmi Ganjavi based on a semi-historical Arab story about the 7th century Nejdi Bedouin poet Qays ibn al-Mullawah and his ladylove Layla bint Mahdi.
